Winner of the double-gold in the International Fingerlakes Competition, the Viognier was aged 6 months in French oak for a nicely balanced palette, and a dry finish. Enjoy with grilled chicken

Tasting Notes
Aromas of dried apricot, white flower blosson, and green melon. Flavors of lime, peach and cantaloupe.
Vineyard Notes
Heavy shale and limestone slopes with south/southeast aspect between 1000'-1200' elevation. Dry farmed using sustainable practices.
Production Notes
1/3 fermented in tank, 2/3 fermented in French oak barrel.
Winemaker Notes
2015 was a good vintage in Virginia with consistently warm, dry weather throughout the growing season. The fruit came in with good phenolics, and balanced chemistry. Whites were picked about 2 weeks earlier than previous years, but with optimal ripeness.
